The role

The Chief Architect will report to the CIO and assist in establishing and driving company technology vision, strategies, and plans for growth. The CTO will work closely with leadership in ensuring the resources are aligned to the projects and deliverables in support of Company, Vascular Centers, and Fibroid Centers goals and objectives and focus on aligning and improving technological issues in the company

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with CIO in setting the technical vision and leading technological development
  • Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of technical, web, and mobile services
  • Identifying opportunities for web and mobile services
  • Collaborating with department heads, marketing, production, and operations as an advisor of all technologies involved with company
  • Ensuring technology standards and best practices are met
  • Monitoring web analytics and making recommendations that align to business goals
  • Supervising quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests
  • Mentoring team members
  • Identifying company web user needs
  • Monitoring performance profiling tools and procedures
  • Reviewing time frames and budgets
  • Developing and implementing disaster and emergency recovery plans
  • Defining company standards for systems, equipment, and software
  • Sharing technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
  • Studying current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
  • Studying information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensuring company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations

The must-have skill sets

  • Successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a software development role, information technology role, or related field; five years in management or leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; Master’s degree in information technology or a technology-related discipline preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare and technology industry
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and other senior management throughout the company
  • Able to be a “big picture” thinker
  • Able to align multiple strategies and ideas
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills; Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Confident in producing and presenting work
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Experience with technology relative to industry including but not limited to; .Net, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS, GCP, IIS, GitHub, Node.JS, Java/C
  • Server / networking hardware
  • Windows Server OS
  • Linux Sever OS – Centos, Ubuntu
  • vSphere and vCenter
  • VeeAM backup soultion
  • Disaster Recovery technology
